Our Toronto summer English camps combine dynamic language lessons with fun-filled excursions and cultural activities. On weekdays, students attend engaging English classes led by qualified teachers. Afternoons and evenings are packed with exciting activities and trips around Toronto and the surrounding region. On weekends, full-day excursions allow students to explore iconic Canadian sites like Niagara Falls, the CN Tower, and more!
Two summer camp locations in Toronto – Same incredible experience
Downtown Toronto English Camp (7 to 17 years old): Located in downtown Toronto, this program is ideal for students who want to experience life in a bustling multicultural city. Located at Yonge & Bloor streets, in the centre of downtown, close to the University of Toronto, and a 1-minute walk from the Yonge/Bloor subway station.
Dates: mid June to September
Hamilton English Camp (Toronto West, 10 to 17 years old): Perfect for students who prefer a quieter environment, Hamilton offers a smaller-city feel just a short trip from Toronto and Niagara Falls. Students still enjoy many teacher-led trips to Toronto and other must-see locations.
Dates: mid-June to mid August
No matter which camp you choose, students will practice English daily, enjoy Canadian culture, and create friendships that span the globe.
Summer English classes in Toronto
Nacel Access English classes focus on teaching fundamental skills (grammar, writing, reading, speaking, and listening) in an integrated way. Teachers use the communicative approach, and careful attention is paid to ensuring lessons are both interactive and fun. Students will practice speaking in pairs and small groups.
All classes pay special focus to developing oral skills. On the first day of class, students will take a written and verbal English language test, and are then placed in the corresponding level with a mix of students from other countries. Classes have a maximum of 16 students.
All teachers are university graduates, TESL certified, and have extensive experience teaching students from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Trips and activities are an integral part of the Nacel Access Summer English Language Camp program. We believe that students learn through doing, and participating in after-school activities is a great way to practice newly learned English language skills!
Teachers, Activity Staff and Canadian Teen Buddies (Hamilton only) join the students to supervise, motivate, and encourage interaction in English.
Daily teacher-guided afternoon activities plus one day trip every Saturday are included in the program. Sundays are spent with friends or Host Families.
In the afternoons, and on Saturdays, students participate in exciting trips & activities around the city of Toronto. We visit Niagara Falls, CN Tower, Royal Ontario Museum, and Ripley’s Aquarium and more!
Special Summer Program Activities may include: beach volleyball, swimming in Lake Ontario, and canoeing at Centre Island!

Residential or Homestay.
Downtown Toronto Camp:
- Individual students live in Homestay with Canadian families. Hosts provide three meals per day and a warm, comfortable home environment. All families have been carefully screened by our Coordinator to ensure comfort and safety. Students under 14 years will be placed in a homestay with an older student who will accompany them to school.
- Residence accommodation is available (for groups only) at the nearby University of Toronto or Toronto Metropolitan University.
The Toronto bus and subway system are safe and easy to use. Students & teachers will use local transit to travel to all weekday activities. Students must purchase a TTC pass to get to/from camp as well as for use on weekday trips. Most Saturday trips are by chartered bus.
Hamilton West Toronto Summer Camp
- Homestays are recommended for those who are looking for a cultural experience living with a friendly, Canadian family.
- Our Hamilton camp has an on-campus residence available for both individuals and groups. Students have their own bedroom (with double bed) in a shared two-bedroom suite. The suite has a small kitchenette, and a full washroom with shower. The residence is equipped with 24-hour security, a laundry room, a games room, and even a small movie theatre! Tasty breakfasts, lunches & dinners are included daily. Camp staff live onsite to monitor students and ensure they are well taken care of. Fun evening activities complete the program.
Depending on distance, students in homestay either walk, take the bus, or receive our “daily drive” service. or more.) Students in residence have a 2-minute walk to the camp.
