Our students are placed in class according to the level achieved on our English placement test. Perhaps you are better at writing and grammar than at speaking? Our unique placement system allows you to be placed at different levels for different skill areas.
Prior to your first day, you take an online written placement test to determine what level suits your learning needs. We place our students in classes based on their specific abilities: for example, a student could be in a level 4 grammar class and a level 6 speaking class.

The average length of time to complete a level is 8 weeks; however, motivated students can often move up faster.
Develop your English speaking skills
Students are seated around circular-shaped tables in order to encourage oral interaction. And our small class sizes guarantee maximum speaking practice.
Students will have many opportunities to practice speaking in the classroom. They will be given regular homework as well as in-class tests to measure their progress and highlight areas to improve.
Our teachers use interesting and varied methods to help our students master English quickly: classes include communicative activities such as pair and group work, and oral presentations.
At Nacel Access English Toronto we firmly believe that “smaller is better”. Class sizes will be limited to 10 students. Teachers know their students well and give them the personal attention they need to improve quickly.

FULL-TIME ENGLISH CLASSES (20 lessons/week)
In our Full-Time English Course you will learn all the skills necessary to communicate in English. Your general English classes will concentrate on the following language areas:
- speaking,
- listening,
- reading,
- grammar,
- writing,
- vocabulary building,
- idioms,
- and slang.
All classes place a special focus on speaking & listening.
PART-TIME ENGLISH CLASSES (10 lessons/week)
Attend 10 General English classes OR 10 Focus classes.
FULL-TIME PLUS (25 lessons/week)
Study English in our Full-Time program and add on 5 extra lessons per week of conversation & pronunciation classes.
Our unique conversation classes will help you gain overall confidence and improve your oral speaking skills.
Pronunciation classes will teach you valuable techniques for improving your overall pronunciation.
INTENSIVE FOCUS (30 lessons/week)
Focus on Conversation Skills
Study English in our Full-Time program and add on 10 extra lessons per week of one of our specialized Focus classes.

Attend 10 General English classes + 10 IELTS Preparation classes.
FREE ENGLISH WORKSHOPS
All Nacel Access English Toronto students will receive the benefit of a free 30-minute English Workshop class or Homework Tutorial class three times per week.
Workshops take place from 9:00am - 9:30am. These classes are optional, so students can decide each week if they would like to attend.
The English workshops have interesting topics such as:
- Pronunciation Repair
- Power Speaking
- Slang, idioms
- Resume building & Interview Practice
- Movies & Media, Toronto Trivia
COURSE SCHEDULE
Classes at Nacel Access English Toronto are divided into lessons - each lesson is 50 minutes. Classes run from 9:30am - 3:30pm.
